The Heritance hardwood shutters program proudly introduces the Heritance Handcrafted Series.
Blending natural elegance of genuine hardwood with custom artistry, the Heritance Handcrafted Series features a selection of designer finishing techniques which provide new ways of accentuating the inherent character and color of the natural wood.
All Heritance frames and shutter systems can utilize the finishing techniques offered by the Handcrafted Series.
There are six unique designer finishing techniques that can be used alone or in select combinations for a truly custom appearance.
Enhancing the wood's natural grain, the Textured technique creates contrast and depth to the genuine hardwood.
With the Rustic technique, naturally occurring characteristics of hardwood are artistically arranged for a one-of-a-kind shutter
The Glazed technique enhances the richness of the stained finish with the application of hand-rubbed glaze
GLAZED & BURNISHED
With the Glazed & Burnished technique, an antiqued effect is created by hand-sanding frame corners and key areas before glaze is applied.
Classic Distressed gives the wood and stain a beautifully worn appearance with a variety of techniques including glaze, dents, cracks and worm holes
Heirloom Distressed is an old world look that further develops Classic Distressed with additional finishing techniques including burnishing, rasping and flyspecking
